Interested in using AI to improve patient care? So are we

Connecting healthcare workers with computer scientists

…and with everyone in between. The Medical AI Network (MAIN) was founded by a group of medical professionals who wanted to leverage technology, and artificial intelligence in particular, to amplify our positive impact on patients.

We host a range of events for people interested in this field. These include a social medical AI journal club for those who want to get to grips with challenging ideas in a friendly, inclusive environment. These emphasise the social element, because we want to make sure everyone attending has a good time and feels comfortable asking questions.

For anyone interested in a less formal format, we also host networking events where you can get to know others with similar interests. Make sure you sign up to our newsletter and follow us on social media to hear about upcoming events.

For healthcare professionals

Are you a healthcare worker, interested in finding out more about how you can apply machine learning to help patients? Or just want to find out what all the fuss is about? Our medical AI journal clubs are a great place to ask questions and get to grips with key terminology.

For computer scientists

Do you come from a technical background, but want to apply your skills to healthcare? Meet clinicians at our networking events to get a more rounded clinical perspective on your ideas.

Just interested

And you don’t have to be in the field already to attend! Our events are open to anyone interested in medical AI, even if this means you are planning a career transition. Who knows, you may even meet people who have gone through the same journey.
